Hi. my name is Gustavo Teider Rodrigues. I am a Flash developer based in London, UK.
I've been working in the web industry for over 8 years.

During the first three years of my career, I worked in Brazil as an all-round web developer, where I had the opportunity to work
on projects for clients such as HSBC, Coca-Cola, Usina de Itaipu and Boticario.

I moved to the UK in 2007, where i started specialising as a Flash Developer. Since this time, I've worked with some real
talents producing some very creative projects.

Throughout my career i have enjoyed challenges that always keep me learning everyday. Right now, I have experience
with Actionscript2, Actionscript3, Papervision3D, Box2D, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and Mysql.

I'm an easy-going interactive designer/developer that combines the skills of a professional coder with a design sensibility.

Oral-B Product Selector

Working at Digitas i was hired to build the website of the Oral-B eletrical toothbrushes. I was responsible for creating a website that is
interactive, robust and easy to update.
The project was built with Actionscript3 using Digitas Framework and is 100% OOP.

With the website, the user can compare the brushes that is more viable for. There's interesting tools, such as modern menu-navigation, compatible items with the one currently viewed, functional specs, SEO deeplinking, Google Analytics and much more.
All the information of the website is dynamic and easily updated through CMS.

Soa Comunicação

SOA is an advertising agency based in Curitiba - Brazil, they've wanted to launch a new website that could be dynamic, interactive and modern. I was responsible for the Actionscript development, flash and html development.

The website was built using Papervision Library using Actionscript three. The interactivity of this website is very modern as the pages are the sides of the Cube, and then dragging the Cube or clicking on the menu navigation on the bottom the user can see the page he wants. SEO deeplinking, Google Analytics and invisible HTML content has been added to the project as well.
All the information of the website is dynamic and easily updated through CMS.

VXR Homepage Refresh

Working at Digitas i was hired to build the new website of VXR. I was responsible for creating a website that is
interactive, robust and easy to update.
The project was built with Actionscript2 using Digitas Framework and is 100% OOP.

The website has several interesting tools, such as style the car with favorite colour and wheel, 360º video-spin, season results, news, calendar, video gallery, photo gallery, SEO deeplinking, Google Analytics and much more.
All the information of the website is dynamic and easily updated through CMS.

This website was shortlisted to the New Media Age Effectiveness.

Ericsson Winning Proposition

Working with Digitas team we've built the new ericsson.com/ homepage and internal microsites. I was responsible for creating a flash application that could have interactivity, pictures, audio and video. We came up with the idea of a Coverflow that you can flip and see the internal content on the back of the squares. The project was built with Actionscript3 and the data is all xml-driven, easyli updated from Ericsson CMS.

The interesting feature of this project is that as the website is 100% dynamic, it was decided that they want to use the same files for 3 different pages (such as /broadband /multimedia /telecomexpansion).

Shell Dialogues

Shell Dialogues it's a project that you can ask Shell executives about their business as well as acessing reports, articles, videos and more. I was responsible to create a count down that check the time before the start of the webchat with the executives, created a few components such as photo gallery, video player, podcasts and interactive banners on the homepage.
The flash components was built using Actionscript3.

I was responsible of the development of the portfolio gallery and video section. The data come from Mysql database using PHP and the main functionality of the website is a nice zoom application that the user is able to drag around and see the image more detailed.

Bank Lloyds TSB Academy

Due to filesize issues, structure of the files and quality of the work, working at Digitas i was contracted to re-build the website with Actionscript2. The previous website had a few problems such as not loading the homepage properly, waiting so long to load all the pages and so. Now it does load much faster and the user load only what he wants to see.

Gazeta do Povo - Pacman Game

This project it was a promotion that the Gazeta do Povo brazilian newspaper made for its clients. It's about the "Pacman da Gazeta". The traditional Pacman with a few other funcionalities. The best on the ranking will be given prizes, tickets to cinema and musical concerts.
Project built with Actionscript2 and backend with PHP and MYSQL.

Color Outdoor

Color is a company that does rent billboard across the country, they are on the market since the seventies and have decided to change the brand strategy on the internet. For that, they contracted Imam Branding & Design to come up with a solution. The solution we came up with was to create a microsite where the users could draw their messages on the billboards and send to a friend by e-mail.

I was responsible for the flash animations, actionscript development and the backend funcionality.
This website has been awarded on FWA and Cool Home Pages as the website of the week.
